For the company as a software developer, it can accurately assess the cost-effectiveness of each online promotion channel, identify high-quality channels with high conversion rates to increase investment, while adjusting or terminating investment in low-efficiency channels. For other relevant enterprises, they can more accurately grasp the current status and trends of industry promotion, adjust marketing strategies in a timely manner, optimize the allocation of marketing resources, and improve overall marketing efficiency and effectiveness. 1. Data Collection and Preprocessing: (1) Data Collection: Collect data fields related to the online promotion effect of the company's short-play platform, including collection time, total promotion cost, channel code, daily independent cost of the channel (in CNY), daily number of new users acquired by the channel, daily number of new members acquired by the channel, daily new member revenue of the channel (in CNY), and average revenue per member (CNY/member). (2) Data Preprocessing: Eliminate invalid channel data where the cost is greater than 0 but the number of new members is 0 or the new member revenue is 0. 2. Channel Revenue and ROI Calculation: (1) Channel Revenue Calculation: Daily revenue of the channel = Daily new member revenue of the channel. (2) ROI Calculation: ROI = (Daily revenue of the channel - Daily independent cost of the channel) / Daily independent cost of the channel. 3. Strategy Optimization Rules: For channels with ROI ≥ 0.2, increase the budget proportionally; for channels with ROI ∈ [0, 0.2), maintain the budget and launch A/B testing for optimization; for channels with ROI < 0, immediately terminate the investment.
