<b>Objective</b><br>Surgical graduate training to achieve practice-ready students is needed, yet is often lacking. This study developed<br>and evaluated a proficiency-based, simulation-based course for basic surgical skills at graduate level. Learning<br>outcomes were measured at the level of knowledge and skills and evaluated with a post-course questionnaire after<br>students’ clinical rotations.<br><b>Methods</b><br>The surgical skills course was anchored to surgical patient flow and covered topics and skills related to pre-, intra-,<br>and post-operative care, including case-based medical reasoning, patient safety, infection management, operating<br>theatre etiquette, scrubbing and donning, instrument handling, Post-course evaluation was done with an online survey.<br><b>Results</b><br>155 graduate Technical Medicine students from academic years 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 entered this study.<br><b>Datasets in this repository</b><br>English translations of Rubrics Surgical Skills <br>(Performance indicators and objectives for the scrubbing and donning, local anaesthesia, incision/excision, and suturing tasks)<br>Results Graduate Assessments Surgical SkillsQuestionnaire Results Surgical Skills<br>Figures for Simulation-based Surgical Skills Training for Technical Medicine Students<br>
<b>研究目标</b><br>当前亟需培养能够胜任临床工作的外科研究生,但现有培养体系常存在短板。本研究开发并评估了一套面向研究生层级、基于能力达标与模拟仿真的基础外科技能培训课程。学习成果从知识与技能两个维度开展测评,并在学生完成临床轮转后通过课后问卷进行评估。<br><b>研究方法</b><br>本次外科技能培训课程以外科患者诊疗流程为核心锚点,涵盖术前、术中、术后护理相关的主题与技能,包括基于病例的临床推理、患者安全管理、感染防控、手术室礼仪、刷手与穿无菌手术衣、器械操作等内容。课后评价采用在线问卷形式进行。<br><b>研究结果</b><br>本研究共纳入2015-2016学年与2016-2017学年的155名技术医学(Technical Medicine)研究生参与。<br><b>本仓库包含的数据集</b><br>1. 《外科技能评分量表(Rubrics Surgical Skills)》英文译本:涵盖刷手与穿无菌手术衣、局部麻醉、切开/切除操作以及缝合操作的绩效指标与训练目标<br>2. 《研究生外科技能评估结果》与《外科技能问卷结果》<br>3. 面向技术医学学生的模拟外科技能培训相关配图
