Fecal samples from Balb/c mice Metagenome

This dataset contains metagenomic sequencing data of fecal samples from Balb/c mice involved in a study investigating the therapeutic effects of triptolide (TP) on LPS-induced acute lung injury (ALI). The study aimed to explore TP's regulatory mechanisms on gut microbiota, bile acid metabolism, and the gut-lung axis in ALI. The mice were divided into three groups: Control group (intranasal instillation of PBS), LPS-induced ALI group (intranasal administration of LPS), and TP intervention group (LPS instillation followed by intraperitoneal injection of TP). The metagenomic data here reflects the compositional and functional changes of gut microbiota in each group, which serves as a key basis for analyzing the interaction between gut microbiota, serum metabolites, and pulmonary bile acid levels, and further clarifying TP's therapeutic mechanism in ALI.
