DOW Primary Ambient Monitoring Station Basins

These data delineate the contributing basins for the current primary ambient network monitoring stations of the Kentucky Division of Water Ambient Rivers Monitoring program. Water quality data are collected regulary from these stations. By examining the land cover and uses of the contributing watershed, factors that contribute to water quality can be explored and addressed. These data also include nutrient (total nitrogen and total phosphorus) loads and yields data for the basins included in the studies Nutrient Loads and Yields in Kentucky: 2005-2017 and the Update to the 2019 Nutrient Loads and Yields in Kentucky Study, which includes two additional years of data.
