This volume contains a report on land settlement submitted to Cabinet by the Hon. W.E. Wearne, Minister for Lands; land settlement policy and proposals approved by Cabinet, 10 January 1923; and development policy proposals of the Hon. F.A. Chaffey, Minister for Agriculture. The booklet is heavily annotated and appears to have been a personal copy of George Francis Allman, who was appointed Chief Clerk of the Closer Settlement Advisory Board on 30 April 1919.
