This study aimed to characterise by ChIP-seq epigenetic marks in the chlorophyta-model Chlorella sorokiniana, grown in autotrophic conditions. Those marks were: H3K27 mono-, di- and tri-methylation (associated with faculative heterochromatin in plants), H3K9 di- and tri-methylation (associated with constitutive heterochromatin in plants), and H3K4 tri-methylation (associated with euchromatin in plants). H3 was used as control.
