Mapping observation of dynamical structures in the Perseus cluster

XMMNewton performed 5 pointing observations in the Perseus cluster, and showedvery interesting features in the largescale distributions of temperature. It iscertain that the cluster is undergoing at least 2 major mergers. We propose here5 further pointings to fill up the bright part of the cluster emission, whichwill give us full views on the 2 mergers going on in the southwest (IC 310subcluster) and in the east (extended cool subcluster) of the Perseus system.The data will show us a complete view about the substructures, with the gasheating and mixing processes taking place in this massive system. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
