Data collection technique: Face-to-face focus group interviews Type of research instrument: Semi-structured questionnaire Data collection period: 2024 Abstract: The study aims to explain the manifestations of energy ageism, its determinants among Polish seniors, and its links to the socio-spatial dimension. The project included focus group interviews (FGIs) with participants aged over 60, representing four categories distinguished according to spatial criteria: residents of large cities living in old, pre-war tenement buildings constructed before 1945; residents of large cities living in housing estates built between 1960 and 1990; residents of single-family houses located in both urban and non-urban areas; residents of rural areas (including those using gas installations as well as alternative sources of heat).
