IAI-Final Report_ISP1_054 - Ice Core Study on the Environment and the Climate of the Antarctic Peninsula and the Southern Part of South America

This dataset refers to Final Report of the ISP round I project number 054, which has the name "ICE CORE STUDY ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE CLIMATE OF THE ANTARCTIC PENINSULA AND THE SOUTHERN PART OF SOUTH AMERICA". This project was complementary to another one funded by the European Union which covered the period September 1995 - December 1998. The primary scientific objective of the project was to reconstruct, by ice core studies, the recent history of the climate and environment in the southernmost region of South America and in the Antarctic Peninsula, covering the last millennia, with high resolution.
