NJPDES Discharge to Surface Water PFAS Monitoring in New Jersey

This dataset is comprised of Monitoring Report Form data submitted by New Jersey Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NJPDES) Discharge to Surface Water (DSW) and Significant Indirect User (SIU) permittees. In 2022, the Bureau of Surface Water and Pretreatment Permitting began including PFAS monitoring requirements in specific industrial DSW and SIU permits as part of the Division of Water Quality's PFAS Strategy. PFAS monitoring allows the Department to characterize and assess PFAS levels from direct and indirect dischargers. Non-detect results are shown by a less than symbol (i.e., "<") preceding the numerical result.
