The evolutionary dynamics between viral mimics and host proteins

This dataset contains PDB, MS, MSA, and phylogenetic tree files for coding genes from human and viral genomes. The viruses included in this study are HSV1 (HHV1), EBV (HHV4), HCMV (HHV5), KHSV (HHV8). and Vaccinia virus (VACV). These files were created and used in the analysis of "The evolutionary dynamics between viral mimics and host proteins" by Fuchs, Schor, Naim et al. PDB files of human proteins are not included here, since they were retrieved from the AlphaFold website (https://alphafold.ebi.ac.uk/). Phylogenetic files do not include EBV that did not have sufficient number of related viruses to perform the evolutionary analysis.
