The aim of the study is to study the global transcriptional response of the fission yeast exposed to a glucose-depleted environment at 4 different time points: 0, 15, 60 and 120 minutes. Associated with the potential transcript switches, we also study the potential functional consequences caused by differential usage of transcripts.
