Data for: An Offshore Algal Bloom Triggered by the Detachment of Low Salinity Water from the Changjiang River Plume

This dataset contains processed SCHISM model outputs essential for reproducing all figures in the accompanying study, ​​"An Offshore algal bloom triggered by the detachment of low salinity water from the Changjiang River Plume"​​. The provided MATLAB data files (.mat) are systematically organized to facilitate replication and analysis.

Each file is named according to the specific figure(s) it supports (e.g., Figure_5_MOD_data.mat, Figure_6_SSS_hvel_wind.mat).

Some files contain datasets that underpin multiple figures. For instance, the file Figure_9_13_SEC20200427-0516.matprovides the data for both Figure 9 and Figure 13.

The variables within each file represent the final, processed model outputs used for plotting, including but not limited to salinity fields, current velocities, salinity profiles, as well as concentrations of various nutrients and phytoplankton.
