第三极地区冰川编目评价数据（1990-2015）

在国家重点研发计划“冰冻圈和极地环境变化关键参数观测与反演”第一课题“冰冻圈关键参数多尺度观测与数据产品研制“等项目的资助下，中国科学院青藏高原研究所周石硚课题组利用层次分析法，筛选出8个参评因素，通过划分等级的方式评价了第三极地区现有的8套冰川编目数据的综合质量，并融合各评价单元内综合质量最佳的数据生成了一套新的冰川编目数据。新数据大大提高了整个第三极地区单一冰川编目数据的质量。
该数据内容包括（1）原冰川编目数据信息，包括冰川的经纬度、面积、高程、坡度、坡向、遥感数据的采集时间等；（2）评价信息，包括8个参评因素的标准化指标值、综合评价值和评价单元内冰川编目数据的等级等。这些数据不仅可以让潜在用户知道某个区域综合质量最佳的产品，还能提供冰川编目数据的单一质量或因素（如季节性积雪）。

Funded by projects including the first sub-project "Multi-scale Observation of Cryosphere Key Parameters and Development of Data Products" under the National Key R&D Program of China's "Observation and Inversion of Key Parameters of Cryosphere and Polar Environmental Changes", the research group led by Zhou Shiqiao from the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITPCAS) adopted the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to select 8 evaluation factors, assessed the comprehensive quality of 8 existing glacier inventory datasets in the Third Pole region via ranking, and fused the datasets with the best comprehensive quality within each evaluation unit to generate a new glacier inventory dataset.
This new dataset greatly improves the quality of single glacier inventory datasets across the entire Third Pole region.
The dataset includes two parts: (1) Original glacier inventory metadata, such as the latitude, longitude, area, elevation, slope, aspect, and acquisition time of remote sensing data for glaciers; (2) Evaluation metadata, including the standardized index values of the 8 evaluation factors, comprehensive evaluation scores, and the ranks of glacier inventory datasets within each evaluation unit.
This dataset allows potential users to not only identify the product with the best comprehensive quality in a specific region, but also obtain the individual quality metrics or specific factors (e.g., seasonal snow cover) of the glacier inventory datasets.
