Brazil: soybean domestic consumption 2011-2025

The domestic consumption of soybean in Brazil has increased annually throughout the past decade. In 2024/25, consumption in the South American country was expected to reach around 58.5 million metric tons, an increase of over 50 percent in comparison to 2011/12. Likewise, production of soybean in Brazil has seen a mostly upward trend in the period, and was estimated to reach 149 million tons in 2023/24.
