The Belt and Road Initiative's Influence on Bangladesh's Textile Sector: Dynamics of International Trade and Apparel Merchandising
收藏资源简介:
China's ambitious global trade and infrastructure strategy represents a number of opportunities for the South Asian countries. The RMG sector of Bangladesh can be benefited by it throughout boosting market access, improving logistics, and encouraging foreign investment. In light of these, the authors use partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to investigate potential effects of the One Belt One Road (OBOR) policy on trade flows and economic integration in Bangladesh's RMG industry. The study looks at how the improved logistic networks brought about by OBOR initiative can increase the sector's productivity and market access internationally. It also points out important issues like the necessity for more advancement in infrastructure, technological improvements, and resolving possible trade imbalances. It takes into account the social and environmental issues brought on by the sector's promising growth. This research paper offers strategic insights for exploiting the effort effectively while avoiding associated risks by examining both the prospects and problems connected with OBOR. The initiative is empirically seen as advantageous for the advancement of Bangladeshi textiles and infrastructure development in general, more specifically in exports. The results are intended to assist stakeholders in maximizing growth prospects and preserving their competitive advantage in modern clothing industry.
