Supplements to: The assessment of the traffic-induced vibrations in urban areas by cost-effective sensors: a case study for a historic building in Trieste, Northeastern Italy.
收藏资源简介:
The dataset contains recordings collected with the Lunitek Sentinel GEO sensor as part of a data acquisition campaign to investigate the dynamic response of a historic building. Specifically, the aim was to determine the building’s natural frequencies and assess the effects of traffic-induced vibrations, with a particular focus on resonance phenomena on the upper floors. The recordings were made in four configurations, three of them directly on the building at the base, on the top-wall and on the top-slab and one outside the building, in a free-field area. This data can be used to analyze the structural response, estimate the natural frequencies and calculate the HVSR (Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio) curve at the outdoor location. The material is organized in different folders: The metadata folder contains three StationXML files. The mseed_25min_Raw folder contains the raw (uncorrected) recordings. The mseed_25min_corrected folder contains the recordings corrected for the instrumental response. All the work described is associated with a scientific article submitted to the “Bulletin of Geophysical Observatories” (BGO) in March 2025, accepted in August 2025, and published online in January 2026.
