Data for Wells et al. (2025) "Imaging seasonal progression of melt and snowline change across Alaska using SAR reveals impacts of heat waves," Nature Geoscience, in prep.The associated files contain csv files of binned backscatter, melt extent, and snowline time series for 3,023 glaciers in Alaska (99% of glaciers >2 sq. km). Folders are zipped into subsets based on RGI ID. All data can also be easily visualized and downloaded at https://alaskasnowlines.streamlit.app/. Spatially-distributed backscatter animations can similarly be viewed for all named glaciers at https://alaskasnowlines.streamlit.app/ or downloaded on Zenodo (see additional repositories: glaciers A through C, glaciers D through G, glaciers H through L, glaciers M through R, glaciers S, glaciers T through Z)
