This study investigates the effects of Danggui Shaoyao San (DSS), a traditional Chinese herbal formula, on the gut microbiota composition in a rat model using 16S rDNA sequencing analysis. DSS is widely used for its potential therapeutic benefits in various conditions, but its impact on the gut microbiome remains unclear. By analyzing microbial diversity, community structure, and specific taxonomic changes, this project aims to elucidate how DSS modulates the gut microbiota and explore potential mechanisms underlying its therapeutic effects. The findings may provide insights into the microbiome-mediated actions of DSS and contribute to a better understanding of its clinical applications.
