The present invention relates to a deck board， and more particularly， to a reduced material deck board. According to the present invention， a deck board is provided comprising an operatively upper board section with at least one operatively downwardly dependent support leg terminating at at least one flange， the lower part of the flange having a concave surface. In accordance with this invention there is provided a deck board (1) comprising an operatively upper board section (4) having at least one operatively downwardly depending support leg (5) terminating in at least one flange (7)， an underside of the flange (7) having a concave surface.
