Pseudomonas putida W5 Genome sequencing and assembly. Pseudomonas putida strain:W5

Genome sequence assembly of a novel Pseudomonas putida strain isolated from alfalfa plant root nodules. This strain has the ability to form root nodules and fix nitrogen (a trait not seen in other pseudomonas strains). This project will facilitate further insight into the mechanisms of nitrogen fixation within root nodules.
