Hunga Tonga Hunga Ha'apai Sediment Sequencing

This sequencing data was generated to help describe the microbial communities in the sediments of the island of Hunga Tonga Hunga Haapai, Kingdom of Tonga. Our studies aim to describe the taxonomic diversity of the dominant microbial communities in these sediment environments and to examine patterns of community assembly, dispersal, and function on new formed volcanic islands.
