There is no evidence that E. coli SymE cleaves RNA [RNA-seq]

The purpose of this experiment was to determine whether or not we could detect cleavage in mRNA extracted from cells that expressed high levels of the E. coli protein SymE. This was done by comparing read density across transcripts from +symE and empty vector samples after 0, 30 and 90 minutes of induction. 3 replicates of +symE and 3 replicates of empty vector after 0 minutes of induction, 3 replicates of +symE and 3 replicates of empty vector after 30 minutes of induction, 3 replicates of +symE and 3 replicates of empty vector after 90 minutes of induction. Total: 18 samples
