Gene expression profile at single cell level of the cerebral cortex at different sleep need

Gene expression profile varies along with sleep/wake behavior. We used single nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq) to analyze differentially expressed genes depending on sleep need. The primary motor cortex of ad lib sleep slept or sleep deprived mice, and the same brain region locally administrated with AAV expressing wild-type or gein-of-function-mutated SIK3 were analyzed using snRNA-seq.
