Fecal microbiota analysis of GR-deficient mice

We collected feces from control and T cell-specific glucocorticoid receptor-deficient mice and extracted bacterial DNA. The V4 region of 16S rRNA gene was amplified by PCR and sequenced by Illumina Miseq. We assessed whether glucocorticoids regulate T cell function to affect colonic environment and microbiota homeostasis by comparing microbiota between control and GR-deficient mice.
