SFWMD Facility Sites

SFWMD Facility Locations. This point dataset documents the locations of SFWMD facilities. Facilities include Field Stations, Area Offices, Service Centers, Labs, and Headquarters. The South Florida Water Management District is headquartered in West Palm Beach. At convenient locations in Fort Myers, Orlando and Okeechobee, our three regional Service Centers offer local assistance with District permitting and provide regulatory oversight in their respective service areas. A fourth Service Center in Naples is responsible for managing the primary flood control system of the Big Cypress Basinand protecting regional water supplies and environmental resources. Eight Field Stations serve as operational bases for staff involved in maintaining and operating the water control structures, machinery and lands associated with our regional water management systems.
