What is needed for a strong and lasting intimate relationship? The impact of stress and dyadic coping across a decade. 2011-2021

This is a longitudinal study covering 10 years with annual assessments. Sample: 368 (T1) romantic mixed-gender couples; Three age cohorts: young (20-25 years old), middle-aged(40-55 years old), older couples(65-80 years old); Sample from Switzerland, mostly Swiss nationality (German speaking); Inclusion criteria : relationship duration of at least one year, sufficient German language skills; Overview data collection: T1-T10: questionnaire data; T1-T5 + T10: behavioral observation (conflict conversation and stress conversation); T10: Qualitative interview and video-review-task; Ethics: The Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Zurich has approved the ethical aspects of this study (approval number: No. 17.8.2; No. 19.8.13; No. 20.6.18))
