Time series study of ABA-treated Arabidopsis thaliana rosettes [Illumina TruSeq mRNA Stranded Sample Prep Kit]

The hormone abscisic acid (ABA) regulates many plant stress responses and plant development by activating a complex gene regulatory network. This time series experiment was designed to unravel the architecture and dynamics of the ABA gene regulatory network. Five week old Arabidopsis plants were treated with 0.05 mM ABA or a mock treatment by dipping. Per timepoint and treatment applied, six biological replicates were harvested consisting of a single leaf (the 6th leaf). Total RNA was extracted using the Qiagen RNeasy plant kit. Libraries were prepared from total RNA using the Illumina TruSeq mRNA Stranded Sample Prep Kit.
