FALL3D Test Scalability Input Dataset for HPC Performance Evaluation

This dataset contains input and output files for the test scalability use case of the FALL3D code, designed to evaluate performance and accuracy in HPC environments. The test is recommended for benchmarking FALL3D on CPU and GPU architectures. 📂 INPUT FILES (needed to run the simulation) test_scalability.inp : Main configuration file. test_scalability.src : Eruption source parameters. test_scalability.grn : Grain size distribution. test_scalability.dbs.nc : Meteorological and topographic data (NetCDF). test_scalability.2019-06-23-18-00.rst.nc : Initial conditions (restart file) (NetCDF). 📤 OUTPUT FILES (results from a CPU run with FALL3D v9) test_scalability.2019-06-23-19-00.rst.nc : Restart file generated at simulation end. test_scalability.res.nc : Main results (NetCDF). test_scalability.Fall3d.log : Full execution log (useful for debugging and profiling). Note: All input NetCDF files have been compressed to level 4 to reduce file size.
