Bacillus cereus strain BT-C2.4 was isolated from shrimp farming water in Ben Tre province, Vietnam. This strain has the ability to secrete betalactamase enzyme, it has the potential to be applied to treat residual betalactam antibiotics in aquaculture wastewater or other water environments.
