Digital Archive from an Archaeological Watching Brief at Ilam Hall, Ashbourne, Staffordshire, January-February 2024

This collection comprises images, site records, a report, spreadsheets, and a database from an archaeological watching brief at Ilam Hall, Ashbourne, Staffordshire. This work was undertaken by Ecus Ltd in January and February 2024. The archaeological deposits indicate a combination of landscaping or levelling, earlier path or track networks and include some burnt areas with slag, possibly suggesting small-scale metalworking in the vicinity.
