MicroRNA transcriptome-based mechanism of acupuncture combined with hormone replacement therapy in improving diminished ovarian reserve

Diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) is a dysfunctional ovarian disease that disturbs reproductive-aged women. Acupuncture combined with hormone replacement therapy (HRT) (ACU+HRT) displays potential advantages in treating DOR. In this project, RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) was conducted to explore the possible mechanisms. Target miRNAs of ACU+HRT for protecting ovarian function were identified by RNA sequencing, which may provide a basis for the promotion of ACU+HRT.
