An empirical internal tide model for the mode-2 M2 internal tide, constructed using 25 years of satellite altimetry data. The mapping method is described in a paper under review by JGR-Oceans. The model covers the global ocean from -65 to 65 in latitude and 0-360 in longitude. The regular grid is 0.1 degrees by 0.1 degrees. The SSH amplitude is in cm and the phase is in Greenwich.
