资源简介:
This repository provides experimental data for assessing the mechanical and ductile fracture behavior of ASTM A572 Grade 50 structural low-carbon steel at ambient and elevated temperatures. While temperature-dependent fracture models for structural mild steels remain limited, especially across varying stress states, this dataset offers systematically obtained data to support their development and validation. The experimental program includes 25 monotonic displacement-controlled tests on smooth tensile (ST), circumferentially notched round tensile (CNT-SN and CNT-LN), and grooved plate (GP) specimens tested at temperatures from 20 to 700 °C. These geometries span a broad range of stress triaxialities and Lode angle conditions relevant to ductile fracture. Tests were conducted under steady-state thermal conditions with axial extensometer measurements. The repository contains raw force–elongation time-series data, derived engineering stress–strain data, filtered responses up to crack initiation, and detailed specimen geometry. Processing scripts are provided for reproducibility. The dataset supports calibration and validation of temperature- and stress-state-dependent ductile fracture models, finite element simulations, and studies on structural steel performance under fire and other high-temperature scenarios.
