Explore the effect of grass sickness on the equine faecal microbiome.

This study aims to explore the effect of grass sickness on the equine faecal microbiome by sequencing the faecal bacterial DNA of horses diagnosed with grass sickness and matched controls. Faeces was collected on rectal examination from ill horses and collected free falling from control horses. All samples were frozen at -80 until defrosted for bacterial DNA extraction.
