Flood Directive 2019 II Cycle — Area of Emilia-Romagna Region — Marecchia-Conca Bacini, exposed elements, polygonal geometry

Cartography represents the elements potentially exposed to alluvial phenomena with polygonal geometry, relative to the territory of the Unit of Management (UoM) basins Marecchia-Conca (ITI01319), in the portion falling within the Emilia-Romagna Region. It takes into account the macro-categories considered for the flood risk map, identifying — following the specifications of the Floods Directive — second cycle, Art. 6, within floodable areas, targets considered sensitive represented by polygonal geometry, expressed in terms of: economic and social activities insistent on the area, installations that could cause accidental pollution in the event of floods, structures and strategic infrastructures (cemeteries, technological systems and ref. Legislative Decree 59/2005 and Legislative Decree 152/2006, port areas, sports areas, dams, camping sites, tourist facilities), urbanised areas (residential fabric), productive activities (industrial settlements, arable land, crops, bathing establishments), cultural heritage (forested areas, parks, gardens, natural areas) etc. The data come from the most up-to-date databases available and from various sources that overall update and improve the accuracy of the data used in the first cycle of implementation of the Directive. The map of the exposed elements is represented according to the field “macrocategory district” and also has information on the damage classes (1-4 moderate to very high).
