National highways awarding rate in India FY 2015-2021

In financial year 2021, the awarding rate of national highways in India was 28.7 km per day, an increase from the previous year. In 2018, the awarding rate was 46.7 km per day, the highest during the presented period. In India, the national highways were supervised by the National Highways Authority of India and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. In financial year 2021, they together awarded more than 10 thousand kilometers of national highway projects.
