资源简介:
This dataset provides district-level daily and monthly climate data for all 64 administrative districts of Bangladesh, covering January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2024 (25 years). Data were acquired from the NASA POWER API (MERRA-2 reanalysis, 0.5° × 0.625° resolution, Agroclimatology community) and spatially referenced using official BBS administrative boundary centroids (ADM2, HDX). The dataset contains 584,448 rows of raw daily climate data across 12 NASA POWER variables, and 19,200 rows of monthly aggregated data (64 districts × 300 months). It includes pre-computed SPI and SPEI drought indices at 1, 3, 6, and 12-month timescales, potential evapotranspiration estimated using the Hargreaves-Samani method, monthly water balance, and WMO drought severity classifications based on SPI-3 and SPEI-3. Additional features include Mann-Kendall trend statistics and drought event summaries per district, hydrological zone classifications per the National Water Management Plan (8 zones), Barind Tract district flags, and agricultural crop season labels (Boro, Aus, Aman). Coverage: All 64 districts across 8 divisions. Latitude 21.48°N–26.29°N, Longitude 88.26°E–92.37°E. Zero missing values in raw daily data. This dataset is designed for drought monitoring, agricultural impact assessment, machine learning model development, and climate trend analysis across Bangladesh.
