Dataset containing the 8,866 tweet IDs from London, of which we sampled and analysed 600 posts in our study "Private garden uses during the first UK Covid-19 lockdown and associated mental health benefits"

Full dataset of our submitted research article manuscript, titled "Private garden uses during the first UK Covid-19 lockdown and associated mental health benefits". This dataset includes the 8,866 IDs of the tweets that were obtained for the from the Twitter API (Full Archive). In the dataset, we provide, following the Twitter guidelines, simply the ID for the tweet (dehydrated tweets). Via the ID, the original tweets can be looked up on the Twitter platform (hydradtion of tweets), manually or via software packages. In our dataset, we include information on the study period (during first UK Covid-19 lockdown in 2020; control period in 2019) and on whether a tweet was eventually thematically analysed. 5,591 tweets are from during the 2020 lockdown and 3,278 from the control year in 2019. We read 884 tweets from the Covid-19 lockdown period and 2,702 tweets for obtaining 300 tweets from each period (600 in total) for the thematic analysis. For any analysed tweets, we provide the results of the (abductive) thematic analysis, with the categories regarding garden use and (if applicable) mental health benefit.
