Supporting data for “The cultural and ecosystem values of snakes in Asia"

Chapter2interviewdata.csv includes all of the data used in the analyses for Chapter 2, where the variables "acre.size", "mean1kmbuffertreecover" and "impervioussurfacearea1kmpercent" depict, respectively, the size in acres, percentage of tree cover averaged over the area extending 1 km beyond the centrum, and percentage of impervious surface area averaged over the area extending 1 km beyond the centrum of each sacred grove site associated with the given participant.<br>Chapter3surveydata.csv includes all survey response from interviews conducted at snake soup shops for Chapter 3. The fasta file includes the consensus sequences for all snake meat samples and voucher specimens included in the analyses for this study.<br><br>Files starting with "Chapter4" collectively include all the data used in the analyses for that chapter.
