Fieldwork Notes and Language Materials for Ikʉn/Ika/arhuaco

This repository contains linguistic materials collected during fieldwork on Ikʉn (also known as Ika; ISO 639-3: arh; Glottocode: arhu1242), a Chibchan language spoken in Colombia.

The repository provides supplementary language documentation materials that are not part of the accompanying doctoral dissertation. Contents may include kinship terminology, lexical and semantic notes, grammatical observations, elicitation materials, and other reference documents compiled during linguistic fieldwork.

The materials are intended to facilitate future research on Ikʉn and to make primary language documentation resources available to the wider research community. Individual documents are self-contained and include information about their content, sources, and date of creation where applicable.

This repository may be expanded with additional language materials in future versions.

Este repositorio contiene materiales lingüísticos recopilados durante el trabajo de campo sobre el ikʉn (también conocido como ika o arhuaco; ISO 639-3: arh; Glottocode: arhu1242), una lengua chibchense hablada en Colombia.

El repositorio pone a disposición materiales complementarios de documentación lingüística que no forman parte de la tesis doctoral asociada. Su contenido puede incluir terminología de parentesco, notas léxicas y semánticas, observaciones gramaticales, materiales de elicitación y otros documentos de referencia recopilados durante el trabajo de campo lingüístico.

Estos materiales tienen como objetivo facilitar futuras investigaciones sobre el ikʉn y poner recursos primarios de documentación lingüística a disposición de la comunidad académica. Los documentos individuales son autónomos e incluyen información sobre su contenido, sus fuentes y, cuando corresponde, la fecha de elaboración.

Este repositorio podrá ampliarse con materiales lingüísticos adicionales en versiones futuras.
