Altimeter Data (J-OFURO)

Japanese Ocean Flux data sets with Use of Remote sensing Observations (J-OFURO) Constructed products of gridded surface dynamic topography (SSDT) and geostrophic velocity data using satellite data. Available are sea surface dynamic topography (SSDT) and geostrophic velocity calculated from SSDT. The data from TOPEX/POSEIDON and ERS are optimally interpolated into a 0.5 degree by 0.5 degree (or 0.25 degree by 0.25 degree)grid for every T/P cycle with three types smoothing scales (see following table). The products were computed for period from cycle 002 trough 333.
