Streptomyces autolyticus CGMCC 0516 produces geldanamycins and elaiophylins.The complete genome of S. autolyticus CGMCC 0516 was obtained by using Illumina HiSeq 4000 sequencing platform and Pacbio RSII platform.To obtain the complete genome sequence may help us to further understand the biosynthetic mechanism of these important antibiotics to improve productivities and make novel analogues by genetic engineering.
