This dataset accompanies the article "Data‐driven prediction of room‐temperature density for multicomponent silicate‐based glasses." Journal of the American Ceramic Society, 2023, https://doi.org/10.1111/jace.19072 It compiles over 2000 data points of glass composition and corresponding room-temperature density, including ~1900 experimental measurements and 130 from molecular dynamics simulations. All data were extracted from peer-reviewed literature, cleaned, de-duplicated, standardized, and validated for use in data-driven modeling and machine-learning studies. The dataset covers a wide compositional space within the CaO–MgO–Al₂O₃–SiO₂–TiO₂–FeO–Fe₂O₃–Na₂O–K₂O–MnO (CMASTFNKM) system. Each entry reports oxide compositions in mol % and the corresponding measured density at room temperature. Every record is traceable to its original source, with full references provided in the accompanying metadata file. This dataset was originally released as supplementary information with the 2023 publication and is re-hosted here (2025) to improve accessibility, discoverability, and long-term reuse in accordance with the FAIR data principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable).
