Appendix 1 PGPR strains and their growth-promoting traits

This dataset was generated from the isolation and functional screening of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) associated with three halophytes. A total of 62 bacterial strains were isolated from the rhizosphere soils using selective media, followed by preliminary screening for plant growth-promoting traits. Among the isolated strains, 28 were identified as nitrogen-fixing bacteria, 12 exhibited phosphate-solubilizing ability, and 42 showed indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) production capacity.The dataset includes information on strain identification numbers, host plant sources and functional characteristics related to plant growth promotion, including nitrogen fixation, phosphate solubilization, and IAA production. These data provide valuable resources for studies on rhizosphere microbial diversity of halophytes, development of microbial fertilizers, and ecological restoration of saline-alkaline soils.
