How do colonial frameworks determine Indigenous (Aboriginal) representation and cultural heritage?

This practice-led research examines how cultural hegemony determines the (re)presentations of Aboriginal peoples and cultural heritage. Through examining the Corpus, which is made of colonial structures and frameworks, I argue that we can question and reveal its aims to refuse and conceal true histories of “so-called Australia”. This research is positioned through an Indigenous autoethnographic approach premised within a framework of Indigenous onto-epistemology, an examination of pertinent literature and archival research in concert with an analysis of artistic practice as resistance. I offer a new framework, the Blueprint Methodology, as a way of creating a platform for this research to subvert the Corpus.
