Workplace survey data, Rangpur Hi-Tech Park study: anonymised responses of thirty IT and ITES employees in Bangladesh (2020)
收藏资源简介:
Anonymised responses from a questionnaire survey of thirty employees of IT and IT-enabled service firms in Bangladesh, collected through WhatsApp during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown (convenience and snowball sampling). The data support the Bachelor of Architecture thesis Designing a Human-Centered Work Environment for the Employee of Rangpur Hi-Tech Park (revised 2026 edition), https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.23915357. Each of the 30 rows is one respondent (23 variables): job title, age band and years in the workplace; six workplace dimensions rated twice on a five-point scale (current workplace and a described human-centered workplace); three preferred improvements; one forced-choice most important change; and the frequency of eye strain, work-related stress and back or neck discomfort. Limitations. Small, non-random sample. The “proposed” ratings are hypothetical and measure expectations, not experience. Productivity is perceived, not measured. Names and employers were removed.
