RNA-seq libraries of Gambierdiscus spp & Thecadinium kofoidii

RNA-seq libraries of marine protists, Gambierdiscus spp. & Thecadinium kofoidii. First publicly available transcriptomes for G. carpenteri, G. lapillus, G. cf. silvae & T. kofoidii. The generation of these RNA-seq libraries is part of a phylogenetic inference study of the order gonyaulacales. Several members of the gonyaulacales are polyketide toxin producers which causes seafood related illnesses, including some Gambierdiscus species.
