资源简介:
Given leguminosae's economical and agronomical significance, genome sequencing has been conducted for quite a few legumes, mainly from Papilionoideae. However, no chromosome-level fully assembled genome from Cercidoideae has been available.Bauhinia, the largest genus of the subfamily Cercidoideae, consists of ~380 species distributed in the pantropical regions, with many species exhibiting high ornamental value and being widely cultivated in tropical regions. Bauhinia variegata, also called the orchid tree, possesses diverse petal colors varying from white to deep purple and is especially attractive in horticulture, which is a good representation of Cercidoideae.
