Streptococcus parauberis causes acute infections in olive flounder, leading to high mortality rates and significant economic losses in fish farms. To examine the genetic alterations of rifampicin-induced mutants, we isolated 23 rifampicin-induced S. parauberis strains from wild-type S. parauberis DB-WT.
